This 1937 pre-war vehicle is in excellent condition and is a joy to drive and to own! Just a few years after this car was produced, (during the build-up to World War II) the Packard motor car company patriotically converted all of its industrial automotive operations to 100% war production.
During WW-II, the Packard automobile company was entrusted with building the powerful and reliable legendary Merlin engines which powered the famously fast & furious P-51 Mustang fighter planes which helped to win the war! (The P-51 fighter airplane is known as the quintessential American aircraft of WW-II and was also rated as the best American aircraft by GI's who flew the planes).

Artistic 'Art Deco' type styling accents and details throughout the car (for example, check out the magnificently shaped door handles and the Goddess of speed hood ornament) Lateral side mounted spare wheels - typical of only the finest vintage luxury cars Goddess of speed hood ornament - all original and beautiful condition Original Packard touring limousine divider window - only found in true limousines (crank handle operated from rear passenger compartment) works great! Dark red leather interior in driver's section.
Movable glass divider window separates driver area from rear passenger cabin area.
Passenger cabin area is well appointed in a Plush Red Velvet with a luxurious full width comfort rear seat and two full size sturdy steel construction and comfortable red velvet upholstery front facing jump seats which fold away neatly when not in use into the front divider area.
All upholstery is in excellent condition! (check out the pictures!) AM/FM/CD - Awesome full range stereo system - really pumps out the tunes! - great for driving or while parked with the rear doors open or closed! 4 BF Goodrich tires currently mounted (plus 4 white-wall Coker tires shown in photos are included in the sale) Power Steering, Engine, Transmission, Exhaust, & Breaks all work great and the whole car was recently completely checked out and given regular servicing and also driven by the mechanics/technicians and put up on the lift and given a full inspection with a clean bill of health.
All original lights, chrome and classy 'Art Deco' type exterior styling (one LED brake light was added to the inside bottom of the rear window for increased visibility at night - it stays out of the way and is not noticeable at all from inside the passenger cabin and is not seen from the outside unless the brakes are activated - just as designed).
