Summary: The Circulation Analyst assists the Assistant Circulation Manager in analyzing print media buys and negotiating billboard placement. PRIMARY
Responsibilities: Maintaining Grand Opening Schedule and select tasks Collecting dates from media buying company, printer and internally for an overall schedule for grand opening related deadlines Coordinating line art maps and descriptive addresses for new stores to be used in several advertising materials Recommend mailing territories for contractor preview nights and the grand opening mailing based on current sales and distance Reviewing media buying companys recommendations for the new store buy and making own recommendations for approval Reviewing post grand opening to see ROI and recommend adjustments to buy if needed Reviewing and recommending store/market analyses as needed by zip code Newspaper updates (zoning changes, not publishing, etc.) Store requests Below comp stores Non-profitable stores Checking coverage for the guests zip code If good coverage contact paper If not good coverage reviewing sales and distance to see if additional coverage should be considered Collecting survey from newspaper and circulation by zip code Reviewing initial information to see if it fits our strategy If it does, reviewing the circulation against our current buy for those zip codes and reviewing costs Writing recommendations to be approved by Assistant Media Purchase Manager and Print Answering Circulation related guest comments Gathering proposals and negotiating Submitting contracts for approval Advertising/Circulation Manager Reviewing new paper proposals Running sales/transaction reports as needed for analytics Collecting proposals and negotiating billboard contracts To apply: Kristy Ketterhagen 5101 Menard Dr. Eau Claire, WI 54703 Apply On-line: www.menards.com/careers Email resumes: kketterh@menard-inc.com Skills/Requirements POSITION REQUIREMENTS: A Bachelors degree in Business or related field Experience as an Analyst or Media Buyer a plus Attention to detail, strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task General computer knowledge with Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook Must be able to work full-time with the ability to put in overtime (average of 45-48 hours per week) Apply To This JobEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
