POSITION
Summary:The Surplus Store Sales position is primarily responsible for acting as the primary salesman and cashier of the Surplus Store.
PRIMARY
Responsibilities:
Run the store
Act as the primary salesman and cashier
Housekeeping of the store, the yard and the give-a-way
Open/close the store
Make the daily deposit
Receive, clean, and set out incoming merchandise
Load merchandise for customers if required
Answer customer email inquiries
Prepare quotes
Operate the race tire manufacturing business
Purchase materials
Operate the machines
Make the tires
Sell the tires

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Must be able to operate a forklift proficiently
Must have knowledge about forklifts
Must have a good background knowledge in everything from cars and trucks to electrical systems, electronics, plumbing, machinery and office furniture
Must possess good negotiation skills
