Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all warehouse operations, including procurement, warehouse distribution, order fulfillment, and materials management.
- Develop and implement efficient warehouse processes to ensure timely and accurate inventory management.
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to procure necessary materials and supplies for the warehouse.
- Supervise a team of warehouse staff, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
- Utilize AS400 system or similar software to track inventory levels, monitor shipments, and generate reports.
- Manage fleet of forklifts and other equipment used in the warehouse.
- Collaborate with other departments to optimize supply chain processes and improve overall efficiency.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Handle dispatching of shipments and coordinate with transportation providers.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Manager or similar role in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, including procurement, order fulfillment, inventory management, and materials handling.
- Proficient in using AS400 or similar warehouse management systems.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage a team.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely.
- Familiarity with fleet management practices is preferred.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with vendors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
