Our services encompass vocational counseling, training, vocational evaluation, and direct employment services.
Position Overview:
The Regional Lead Employment Specialist is responsible for ensure consistent policy compliance and operational excellence across all offices within the region.
Foster a productive and efficient environment by managing Lead Employment Specialists and regional staff to meet or exceed grant objectives and operational targets.
Maintain high standards of service delivery and support for homeless veteran reintegration efforts.
Reports to Regional Lead of Operations.
The Regional Lead Employment Specialist will have all Lead Employment Specialists within the region as them being the direct report.
Ensuring Compliance:
Oversee multiple offices to ensure they adhere to both company policies and Department of Labor (DOL) veteran policies.
Ensure offices are effectively managing cases in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Directly report any discrepancies between company policies and DOL policies to the Regional Lead of Operations.
Collaborate with other Regional Leads to ensure consistent adherence to standards and policies across all regions.
Grant Management:
Coordinate closely with Lead Employment Specialists (Lead ES) to ensure that all offices within the region are meeting grant goals and operational requirements.
Ensure Lead ES are managing their offices in accordance with company policy and grant requirements.
Provide ongoing guidance and technical support to Lead ES to assist with grant management and compliance.
Monitor grant activities across the region to ensure they align with grant guidelines, objectives, and both company and DOL VETS policies.
Supervise and manage Lead ES within the region, ensuring adherence to company policy, DOL VETS policy, and that all grant requirements such as eligibility, placements, training, and financial expenditures are met.
Policy Alignment:
Ensure that operations of all offices within the region align with company and DOL veteran policies.
Make recommendations for adjustments to company policies, when necessary, to ensure alignment with DOL policies.
Coordination and Collaboration:
Manage Lead Employment Specialists and ensure uniformity in operations and standards across all regions, replacing the need for mere collaboration.
Actively direct and oversee Lead ES to tackle operational challenges and implement solutions effectively.
Partner with other Regional Leads to write, update, and maintain operational procedures and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure continuous compliance with operational updates and regulations.
Additional Tasks and
Responsibilities:
Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned by upper management, showcasing flexibility and a strong commitment to the organizational success.
Develop and revise company policies and procedures, ensuring they are clear, consistent, and aligned with company values as well as DOL veteran policies.
Conduct training sessions to educate all regional staff on company and DOL veteran policies, ensuring a thorough understanding and compliance.
Manage personnel within the region, including overseeing recruitment, onboarding, and performance evaluations, aiming to maintain a low level of company turnover.
Review and approve purchase requests from Lead ES to ensure necessary items are procured efficiently to support operational needs and maintain office functionality.
Approve time off and manage schedules for Lead ES, ensuring smooth operations and effective time management within the region.
Hourly Rate:
$25.
00-$35.
00 based on experience Minimum Required
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Counseling, Vocational Rehabilitation, or a related field.
At least two years of related experience in leadership, job development, recruiting, or counseling.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent writing, counseling, and communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Preferred
Experience:
Veteran status.
Experience in military roles.
Background in veteran services, social work, or case work.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
