You should enjoy welcoming guests to our establishment and guiding them to an appropriate table, ensuring that it is cleared, and clean.
Make sure there are enough seats for everyone.
You'll need a friendly, courteous manner to answer phone calls and make accurate reservations for guests.
You will also need to multitask efficiently, and answer menu questions if the waitstaff is unavailable.

Make sure dining room tables and chairs are neatly organized at all times and that condiments on the table are restocked if low Clean up and clear plates after guests leave, and get the table ready for the next customers Respond to phone inquiries professionally and secure reservations while ensuring all seating issues are quickly and efficiently handled Learn the menu, including the daily specials and accurately describe how dishes are prepared Welcome all diners with a friendly attitude to create an excellent first impression
Qualifications:
This role requires a high school diploma or equivalent GED and a good command of the English language Must be able to handle a fast-paced atmosphere with periods of standing on feet for an extended length of time Prior food services, or hospitality service industry experience is preferred but not required Skills needed for this role include excellent people skills, time management, organization skills, and the ability to handle customer requests and situations quickly with a pleasant demeanor About Company The Lismore Hotel Eau Claire - a DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel.
