(VRSI) has an Accountant/Administrative Assistant position open in our Eau Claire office.
VRSI is a veteran-owned agency that provides free employment services to qualifying veterans in the community.
We have 11 offices located in Wisconsin, California, Florida, Nebraska and Iowa.
The Accountant/Administrative Assistant will work closely with the Program Managers and Administrative Assistants to ensure finance-related tasks are handled appropriately.
Job Duties:
Bookkeeping using QuickBooks Online Creating and Maintaining Corporate Spreadsheets Preparing Financial Statements Monthly Reconciliations Onboarding New Hires HR Support Support to Program Managers and Administrative Assistants Audit Financial Transactions and Documents Assist with Standard Operating Procedures Multitask and Prioritize Projects by Importance or Deadlines
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree (Preferred), Associates Degree (Required) Minimum of 1 year of Accounting/Administrative Experience Ability to work independently and with a team Start Date:
As soon as possible Work Schedule:
Monday - Friday (0800-1630 or 0830-1700) Hourly Rate:
$19.
00-$26.
00 based on experience Company

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
