The library is seeking a security monitor to maintain an environment that is safe and welcoming for our Library users and employees.
The security monitor will respond to emergencies, perform general security duties, and document incidents.
The security monitor will work closely with library staff to enforce the library's policies.
The successful candidate will possess excellent communication and customer service skills, understand de-escalation techniques and have the ability to demonstrate compassion for our customers while remaining vigilant about policy enforcement.
Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply (especially those who speak HMoob (Hmong), Spanish, and other high-need languages in the Chippewa Valley).
