Summary:
The service coordinator is responsible for 1) hiring service vendors to complete preventative maintenance, seasonal repairs, and routine maintenance to Menards investment properties, 2) responding to warranty issues, and 3) helping in the process of closing old stores.
Primary
Responsibilities:
The service coordinator hires Service Vendors using a bidding process for preventative maintenance, seasonal repairs, and routine maintenance including, but not limited to, the following trades:
Lawn Care & Landscaping Day Porters Roofing HVAC Snow Removal Asphalt Repair Sweeping HVAC Filter Changes Lot Striping Power Washing Generator Maintenance Fire Suppression System Maintenance Energy Management & Lighting The Service Coordinator is responsible for managing the maintenance and repairs of the Menards investment portfolio from the Eau Claire General Office to ensure they are completed on time, within the allotted budget, and meet the contractual obligations.
Schedule the service and coordinate with the tenants, when required Communicate with the vendor and ensure that work is completed on time Communicate updates and report status of projects to the Self Storage and Maintenance Manager Upon completion of the projects, verify punch lists are complete and sign off on the project.
The Service Coordinator is responsible for receiving warranty repair requests from Menards store personnel and coordinating with the original Contractors and/or Vendors to make the necessary warranty repairs.
The Service Coordinator is responsible for helping in the closing of former Menard locations.
Such tasks include, but are not limited to:
Coordinating the removal and salvage of fixtures and equipment with Store personnel Ensuring all items listed in the store closing checklist are completed in a timely manner Skills & Requirements POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
oAn Associate's degree in business and 2 years of property management experience is preferred but not requiredoMinor in Finance or Accounting and related experience is a plusoDepartment Management or Buyer experience is preferred but not requiredoGood written/oral communication and analytical skillsoExperience with the Microsoft Office suite of programsoKnowledgeable in bidding and estimating.
oMust be able to work full-time with the ability to put in overtime (average 45 hours per week) Typical schedule consists of Monday - Friday 8am-5pm oRelocation to Eau Claire, WI Qualifications Don't see a job that meets with your interests?
