This position performs a wide variety of administrative support and legal research duties.
This position helps ensure the proper functioning of the department and enhance the productivity and effectiveness of a busy, professional environment.
PRIMARY
Responsibilities:
Preparing legal letters, documents and exhibits under direction of Staff Counsel Conducting legal and internet research Calling courts and setting up hearings, rescheduling hearings, and gathering information and filling documents with courts General office work, such as maintaining proper legal files, photocopying, and preparing electronic documents/filings Open and close legal files Compile quarterly reports Use of Microsoft Office:
Word, Excel, Outlook and Power Point, and Prolaw Assisting other Operations departments as needed Coordinating departmental documentation for management approval and signatures Back up for the Administrative Assistant position And other duties as requested or required DESIRED POSITION
Qualifications:
Technical Degree or education relating to the job Past office experience would be preferred Ability to maintain confidentiality Ability to work independently or in a team environment - interact with many departments on all levels Ability to work under pressure of deadlines Ability to manage multiple assignments and adjust to changing priorities Accuracy and attention to detail is critical Assist in projects as required Strong proof-reading skills Willingness to learn Visit us at www.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
