Works under direct supervision of a pharmacist.
Follows standard procedures to accomplish assigned tasks Job

Assist pharmacy staff in the filling of incoming prescriptions Responsibilities Job Duties:
Provide quality customer service to all customers Assist in the stocking of inventory from supplier orders Restock workstation filling supplies Print delivery manifest Scan medications to proper bins Perform housekeeping duties necessary to maintain a professional environment Responsible for completing all mandatory and regulatory training programs Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications Attendance Requirements:
Must be available, and on-time for scheduled work shifts Educational Requirements:

High School Diploma (or currently enrolled) or GED Preferred:
AS Degree or Higher
Experience:

Hospital or retail pharmacy experience Required (Vermont Employees Only):
Registered with the State of Vermont as a Pharmacy Technician Required (New Hampshire Employees Only):
Registered with the State of New Hampshire as a Pharmacy Technician Required Ohio Employees Only):
Registered with the State of Ohio as a Pharmacy Technician Special Conditions of Employment:
Drug test Initial and continuous exclusion and sanction/disciplinary monitoring Any and all additional eligibility requirements based on the specific position Job Skill Requirements:
Strong communication skills Excellent organization skills Outstanding customer service skills General knowledge of medications and physician orders Ability to multi-task and prioritize Requires the ability to stand throughout the duration of the shift Limited lifting up to 80 lbs Successful completion of a pre-employment and/or random drug screening test Required Training:
