Recruitment and enrollment of applicants in the STC grant II.
Provide orientation on available services, career information, and job-seeking skills III.
Provide/coordinate career assessment to assist participants in determining interests, aptitudes, abilities, limitations and training needs, and/or refers to additional assessment as needed.
IV.
Assists individuals in developing employment/training plans and service strategies to address assessed needs V.
Assists participants in the implementation of individualized training/employment plans.
VI.
Provides participant follow-up to assess progress and assist in job retention.
VII.
Support to Communities Grant:
Support and assist those who seek to transition to professions that support individuals with substance use disorder or occupations that address the opioid recover efforts in local service areas; Perform individualized and group screenings, referrals and navigational services to patients within various clinical, office and community settings; Work with the grant coordinator to develop and coordinate outreach projects, programs and systems of care to increase community awareness, engagement and integration between the broader community and the grant identified recovery communities VIII.
Provides employer/agency outreach as representative of the Job Center and Workforce Resource.
IX.
Participates as a member of Job Center, Workforce Development Area and Workforce Resource teams to continuously improve the quality of Workforce Development services in the region QUALIFICATIONS AND
Experience:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent credentials and experience.
Experience supporting a team that is working towards specific goals.
Ability to relate effectively with people with a high level of integrity.
Ability to identify problems and independently collect, logically organize and analyze information and/or data in order to make appropriate decisions or recommendations.
Proficient in Windows and Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point.
Ability to compose detailed correspondence and routine reports in a clear, concise, logical, and effective manner while utilizing proper grammar, spelling, punctuation, sentence structure, and tone.
Valid driver's license.
Salary:
$19.
00-$21.
00 per hour based on case management experience Schedule:
Part Time/20- 29 hours / Monday to Friday Work from home position Flexible schedule after 3 months of successful employment Job Type:
