Position Summary Manage supply and delivery flows to maximize product availability, manage warehousing operations and coordinate transportation providers in order to drive efficiencies that translate into better on-time delivery service and reduction of total delivered cost. Manage the day-to-day Eau Claire Distribution Center activities including, but not limited to, work scheduling, staffing, supervisory tasks (coaching, guiding, counseling, administering discipline) and the facilitation of data collection and reporting related to performance, quality and costs. Lead the justification and planning requirements to increase the distribution volume in 2022 and beyond with the goal of maximizing Value Stream Efficiency. Also responsible for coordination of Eau Claire Factory External Supply Chain requirements including external material storage (3PL Coordination), carrier coordination, corporate load planning/transportation, and Factory to DC inventory and quality. Service levels to our customers, consumers and patients is the key metric, however this position also requires a clear understanding of variable distribution expenses (VDE) and fixed distribution expenses (FDE). The Physical Logistics Manager should be able to read financial information, identify main drivers and build the action plan to help the business reduce the total delivered cost. KEY
Responsibilities:
Safety - Train team members on safety procedures, Responsible for the maintenance of safety and sanitation standards for the facility to ensure efficient day-to-day operations, Monitor behaviors and address potential risks, Ensure quality of product throughout the DC operations (inbound, storage, outbound) and Implement sustainability initiatives to reduce waste Staffing and scheduling - Evaluate and prioritize the daily shift workload demand and make plans for proper execution and manpower/equipment utilization. Maintain logs of shift operations, production summaries, overtime and downtime reports, etc., Monitor volume and productivity by task and communicate capacity challenges to Customer Logistics management andProvide guidance and direction to associates and team leaders by setting performance standards and monitoring performance Continuous improvement - Ensure successful regulatory compliance and implementation of company initiatives, Facilitates variance investigations, as well as KPI collection and preparation of data utilized to further drive improvement initiatives, Refresh warehouse layout design and Address recurrent quality and/or throughput issues by performing problem solving exercises Training & Development - Motivate and empower the team to achieve stated objectives, Provide orientation, training & development to individual team members, in support of high performance team goals and Develop team to ensure growth, learning, and an active succession planning process. years of experience with Logistics roles Logistics experience in the areas of warehousing and/or Transportation Management Leadership role in one of the functions across Ensuring Supply areas of:

Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
